Āmio is a COVID-19 chatbot released on 6th February 2020. Amidst a growing 'misinfodemic' Āmio provides answers to common COVID-19 questions and links to official information in an easy-to-use design. With the continuous stream of COVID-19 updates and new information our team's rapid and agile development approach ensured users were updated in real-time. Our team of doctors seamlessly fused the clinical and digital worlds by developing a self-assessment tool to help users assess their need for COVID-19 testing and find their nearest testing centre. By providing this 24/7, easily accessible and engaging digital tool we wanted to ensure equitable access to health - making healthy, easy.
